Supporting families through dementia -
with compassion, dignity, and community.
The Meemaw and Peepaw Project is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals living with dementia and the families who care for them in the Texas Panhandle. Our mission officially began January 2026, but our hearts have been in service for much, much longer.
Rooted in faith, and driven by compassion, we believe no caregiver should feel alone, overwhelmed, or forgotten.
Whether you’re navigating a new diagnosis or walking a long caregiving journey, we’re here to help — with resources, support, and a whole lot of heart.

Why We Started
Dementia changes everything — not just for the person diagnosed, but for the entire family.

The Meemaw and Peepaw Project was created out of personal experience and a deep belief that families deserve support, understanding, and kindness during one of life’s hardest seasons.

We’re here to remind caregivers: you matter, your loved one matters, and you don’t have to do this alone.
